Love trying new food, beer and wine? Music? Finding unique items that go to help great causes? This event is for you!!! Come and sample a variety of local foods and drinks from around Nebraska while enjoying live music from Big Daddy B & The Wrecking Machine.
There will be a number of vendors showcasing local art, clothes, jewelry, etc., a silent auction and cash bar. There will also be fun games like corn hole and jumbo jenga. After the band stops at 7p.m., we will have karaoke! We have decreased ticket cost to $20 when purchased in advance - $25 at the door on the day of the event. This is a fundraising event so all proceeds go to funding Mid-Plains United Way's partner agencies. Buffalo Commons Storytelling Festival

Prepare for a whole lot 'a stories, music, and fun at the 23rd Annual Buffalo Commons Storytelling and Music Festival May 31 - June 2, 2019 in McCook, Nebraska. Events will include a bus adventure, dinner cabaret, stage show, museum concert, garden party, local stories and songs, open mic opportunities, children's story theatre and much, much more.
This year’s guest artists, include: Bil Lepp -- nationally acclaimed storyteller, author and recording artist; Zoe Lewis -- English folk musician; Roxanne Layton -- Manheim Steamroller percussionist and recorder. Rounding out the talented trio of musicians will be Kate Wolf on the bass Guitar. Chuck Peek -- 2016 Nebraska Book Award Winner, historian, author, poet will return to his "hometown" once again to entertain us.
