Docks are being pulled from Southwest Region Lakes

Docks are being pulled from the water at many locations in the Southwest region due to high winds. The docks will be placed back in the water as soon as weather conditions allow.

At Swanson State Recreation Area, the Trail 3 dock will be out of service until wind damage to the dock can be repaired.

Lakes in the southwest include Enders, Swanson, Red Willow, Lake McConaughy, Lake Maloney, Sutherland, and Medicine Creek.

Boaters wishing to use ramps and docks at these areas can call the North Platte Game and Parks district office at 308-535-8025 for more information.
