McCook MNB Bank Seniors knock off #1 Seed Minden in Extra Innings
McCook MNB Seniors took the lead late and defeated Minden First Bank Seniors 14-9 on Saturday. The game was tied at six with McCook MNB Seniors batting in the top of the eighth when an error scored three runs for McCook MNB Seniors.
Jacob Gomez-Wilson led McCook MNB Seniors to victory by driving in four runs. Gomez-Wilson went 2-for-4 at the plate. Gomez-Wilson drove in runs on a double in the fourth and a single in the eighth.
In the first inning, Minden First Bank Seniors got their offense started. Ben Edgecombe's sac fly scored one run for Minden First Bank Seniors.
